Over the past couple of weeks I have been staying with the bf whilst everyone is on holiday, and it has been lovely relaxing and helping out.
Both the bf and I have mainly been taking it slow, and not really doing much. Getting up at 10am and having breakfast whilst watching two episodes of Grimm on Netflix (a fantastic show which I have been enjoying thoroughly). It's a students life.
We this past week went out on a lovely picnic and played out on the swings in the small playground nearby. It was a nice change up as I don't go on a lot of picnics, although whilst playing out in the park the bf split his shorts while trying to get through a tunnel, I on the other hand stayed on the swings and tried to get higher and higher. Very much a swing girl at heart.
We then got a nice ice cream/ ice lolly.... very refreshing and much needed in the hot weather we have been having.
Having said that though the weather is very erratic. If you know the English weather you could be in the sun one minute and then be cold the next as the cloud comes over the sun. This is where the rain comes in and you hear the torrential downpour as it hits the windows and everything else outside. It's crazy... Luckily if you get everything in in time nothing gets wet or ruined especially if you are having a BBQ.
